With the recognition that it is the social responsibility of every corporation to properly protect any personal information that it may obtain, Asahi Chemical Synthetic Co., Ltd. will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related laws and regulations and strive to protect personal information in accordance with the following policy:

1. Handling of Personal Information

   When we ask any person for any personal information, we will specify the use of such personal information and obtain such information by lawful and fair means to a necessary range. Furthermore, we will not make use of such personal information beyond the range without the consent of the provider of such personal information.

2. Security Measures

   We will take necessary and proper security measures to prevent and correct illegal access to personal information being handled and the loss, destruction, falsification and leak of such personal information.

3. Disclosure and Provision of Personal Information to a Third Party

   Except in the cases where we may provide any personal information to our contractors, etc. within a range necessary for achieving our objective of using such personal information and in the cases where we are required by the laws and regulations to do so, we will not disclose or provide such personal information to a third party without the content of the provider of such personal information. In case we enter into a contract with any contractor, we will supervise such contractor properly with respect to such personal information.

4. Disclosure to the Provider of Personal Information

   In case the provider of any personal information requests us to confirm, correct or delete such personal information, we will meet such request in an appropriate way.

5. Improvement of Our Internal Management System

   We will carry on the improvement of our internal management system for protecting personal information and make continuous improvement in it.
