History
| 1952 | Tatsuya Kobayashi, the first President, established Asahi Chemical Paste Plant in Itabashi-ku, Tokyo, and started the manufacture and sale of ?adhesives based on milk casein, starch and vinyl acetate emulsion. |

| 1962 | The corporate name was changed to Asahi Chemical Synthetic Co., Ltd. |
| 1966 | Started the manufacture and sale of hot melt type adhesives. |
| 1976 | The Head Office was relocated to Azusawa, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo. |
| 1980 | The Osaka Branch Office (now Osaka Sales department). |
| 1984 | Started the sale of hot melt system. Tatsuya Kobayashi, the founder, passed away. Naoki Kobayashi assumed the post of President. |
| 1988 | Acquired the site for the Tochigi Plant. |
| 1990 | Completed the first phase of the construction of the Tochigi Plant. The manufacturing department was relocated to Tochigi, and the Toda Plant was named the Toda Branch. |
| 1998 | Completed the second phase of the construction of the Tochigi Plant. |
